COURSE OBJECTIVES:  In the past 30 years, there’s been an uptick in families wanting more and more security, and who can blame them? With violence on the rise to the point that ‘threats’ have resorted to murdering six and seven-year-old children in a church school, we all need to have more security. However, parents are looking for safeguards for their homes, they are also looking for the best alarm systems for their child’s elementary school, church school or university among other venues they and their families visit.

This course was designed as an introductory course.  In this course we will discuss information regarding thermal cameras and the various types of thermal cameras as well as door alarms that can be used in protecting buildings.  We will also cover some information in the National Electrical Code.
